ABC’s

You’re the child of two geniuses clearly. Or is it geniusi? Darn, maybe you’re not the child of geniuses.

We often times find you singing the ABC song and it’s glorious. Your memory is amazing. You can sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Wheels on the Bus. Itsy Bitsy Spider. Ring Around the Rosy. Old McDonald. Minnie’s version of Sprinkle Sprinkle Little Rose. Mary Had a Little Lamb.

All of those songs you’ll sing on your own without spurring. I can’t imagine another 2 year old who could do that. (proud parent shining through)

The best part of it all. You can spell. Yes, you might get a full-ride to Harvard at this point. A 2 year old who can spell.

Ask you how to spell your name.

E M K Y

Ask you how to spell your mom’s name.

E M K Y

Ask you how to spell your dad’s name

E M K Y

Ask you how to spell Millie’s name

E M K Y

I’m not sure why that’s your go-to spelling, but you’re dangerously close to getting nicknamed “Emky”. That’d be cute too.

I’ll make you a deal. I won’t call you Emky if you quit calling me Daddy. I’m just Dad. Dad. My dad said it to me one day. And I’m saying it to you.
